About the role

Since 1963 Cobalt has provided state of the art diagnostic imaging services to enable the detection of cancers and abnormalities inside the body, at the earliest possible stage, without invasive surgery.

We also undertake and fund research projects and our Cancer Prevention service helps to educate the public.

By focusing on Research, Education, Prevention, Screening, Education and Diagnosis we make a real difference to the quality of life and the outcomes for those suffering from cancer and other serious illnesses.

As Head of Fundraising you will have lead responsibility for developing our fundraising strategy and provide the leadership that inspires and motivates.

You will be an experienced senior fundraiser with a track record of managing a sustainable mix of income streams such as community, major donors, trusts, corporates etc.

An excellent communicator, you will be able to champion fundraising within the organisation, represent the charity to a diversity of audiences and be adept at persuading and influencing at the highest level.
