About the role

The Foundation exists to overcome social injustice by providing financial bursaries, mentoring and support to disadvantaged students from the further and adult education sectors, enabling them to complete their studies in higher education and move on successfully into employment.

Our overall aim is to make a practical contribution to government policies on social justice, widening participation in education and equality and diversity.

The role of Chief Executive is a new one for the Foundation and it reflects our commitment to increasing the support we receive and that we are able to give.

In addition to your core management competence that will ensure that we operate effectively, efficiently and in compliance, you will also bring the ability to raise our profile on a national stage and an entrepreneurial flair.

You will need to demonstrate an understanding of the current issues in the market that we operate in and an understanding of the issues the Foundation exists to address.

First Interview: Friday 3rd September and/or Wednesday 8th September

Final Interview: Monday 13th September
